Steering Joints

To see a range of Steering Joints for your car please enter your registration number into the search box to the left. Alternatively, start a new search for car parts here.

Steering joints are also known as CV (Constant Velocity) joints and their job is to ensure that the power delivered to the wheels remains constant no matter what direction or angle the wheels are working at.

They can be damaged by the presence of moisture and dirt or, if they become cracked or worn can suffer from a lack of lubrication and the presence of corrosion. Any one of these factors can lead to the joints malfunctioning, something which will usually manifest itself in an unpleasant noise when the steering wheel is turned. If a damaged steering joint isn’t replaced it could lead to the driver losing control of the vehicle in a dangerous manner. Rather than take this risk, choose from our range of steering joint kits.
